Install

Download the app, install it, enter your subscription code or activation code. After that it connects on its own.

Update the app over the old one. A clean reinstall wipes the device key, and the slot it held stays occupied until the subscription ends. If you are done with a device, press "Remove this device" in the app BEFORE wiping or reinstalling.

Windows 10 and 11

The installer is not signed with a publisher certificate, so SmartScreen will warn: "More info" → "Run anyway". Check the SHA-256 below — it is the only integrity check of the file you have.

After installing, an icon appears in the system tray. First run: icon → "Activate device…" → enter your subscription code or activation code. For a subscription code the app shows your account number — write it down; the computer then activates itself within a few minutes.

Leak protection is off after installation. Turn it on in the tray menu: "Kill-switch" → "Strict (block)"; the choice is kept.

Android 8 and newer

The app is not on Google Play. Download the APK and allow installation from this source when the system asks.

On first launch Android asks for notification permission and for VPN consent — both are needed: without the notification the system stops the background service, without the consent the tunnel cannot come up.

On the first screen, choose what you have: a subscription code (you get it after buying) or an activation code (another of your devices on that subscription issues it).
